Having Faith
Holy Spirit is helping us to see that we have this kind of faith that moves the mountain. He is always equipping us with the resources to achieve this. Faith has a measure and the measure is always determine according to our faith level. The dimension at which we look at faith, determine our level of operation of faith. Faith is easy to talk about but not like in its operations. The good question to ask is, do I have faith? We might jump into conclusion that faith cometh by hearing, hearing the word of God. But that alone cannot justify that we have faith.
In having faith, the first stage is hearing the word of God. At this level, faith has come to us, but we have not Have it yet. Having faith is liking to be having an approval. Before we can secure approval, there must be agreement. At the time we agree with the word of faith that come to our hearing, we receive the approval. In such case we have faith. Another way of securing approval is when we pray. When we ask anything in prayer and fulfill all the conditions especially forgiven those who offend us, we received whatever we asked for which is the approval we need and that is having faith.
We should not stop at this level of approval or having faith, but we must take a step forward. As we have the approval with us, we must take steps of seeing it happening by enforcing it, speaking it out, fighting it out as in fighting the good fight of faith. There is joy in finding and seeing but there is still much more joy awaiting ahead, for some see the promise afar off but could not possess it and only living by the faith.
Another level, Holy Spirit wants us to aware of is that of possession. Seeing the promise coming to being is not enough until we touch and possess it. And to possess it depends on our level of obedient. At this stage, door can only be opened, to those who knock the door by their obedient, to enter their rest. Remember, He is ready to punish all disobedience when our obedience is full. Things begin to happen effortlessly at this point.
All these levels as we might call them, happen with the speed of light which also depend upon our ability, and grace given to us. Most important thing to take note of, is to watch the word we are hearing and the source of the word. It is very dangerous to believe wrong thing, for such life will be propelled in that way of life which might lead to great destruction.
May the Lord increase our faith in Him in Jesus name. Amen
