God is the giver of all things and He requires from us as a steward to manage and use well whatsoever He has given unto us. If nothing has been given, there is no need of accountability. The sense of accountability comes as a result of what was given to us to keep, look after and discharge to appropriate location.
It is mandatory for us as a steward of His grace to know how to keep and maintain the grace or gift of God given unto us. It is our responsibility on earth to do such, for we shall surely give account.
The money in our custody is given to us by God, the people around us or working for us are given by God, the position we hold is given by God, the land or properties we acquire is given by God, our life and even our soul is given by God. Nothing one possessed can be said it was not given by God.
It is good on our part to keep all that the Lord has given to us in His love, for we receive all that we received by His love and it is our duty to keep them in the love of God. We should handle them according to what He says, reflecting His purpose for which it was given. We must be sensitive to know what He is saying regarding to everything He has given us. Those that keep the commandment of God regarding what was given to them shows the love of God. The greatest evil is to use what God has given us to perpetrate evil or promote wickedness or play harlotry to strange gods.
It is very important and rewarding to keep what the Lord has given us in His love, for through love we make more profit, abiding in His faithfulness and acquire more territories to rule over and to manage.
Arise, put on the love of God as a garment or rope of beautiful colours (means of identification of where we belong to)- tells more about our position in Him, and one of our responsibilities on earth.
