TWO ARE BETTER THAN ONE
This statement goes beyond husband and wife, it is about having a good and purposeful relationship that place us higher above where we could imagine we could be. Setting us up above ourselves to a place of honor we never dream. So, if two are better than one, three are much better than two and so on, for a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
When two or more walk together, the secret of their walking is agreement for how can two walks together, unless they agree. Their agreement is tied to a purpose, having one heart and it is the gift of God as God had promised to give us one heart and a new spirit.
To be sincere, it increases productivity. What is produced as the number of people walking together with one heart increased greatly. But if the produce is reduced compare to what one is producing before, it is a signal that someone is not laboring and not contributing his own quota. The reward of two must not be the same as if it is one. Even, if less than the reward of one, it means someone is pulling other down. This kind of relationship should be avoided, for the important of any relationship is to add value to one another, speed up productivity.
It is important for us to note that if one falls (in strength, finance, health, zeal, etc), the second will quickly put him to order, in order not to affect their productivity. He quickly receives help or assistance that is needed to keep them moving. But with one, he is lonely, and several efforts are needed to put himself back if he can and to place him on the track again.
They gain more kinetic energy when walking together. They have the tendency of easily converting their potential energy to kinetic energy, making rooms for more wins, and boldness to achieve great success effortlessly, which also account for saving the time and when time is saved, productivity is increased. Rate at which work is done speed up and more meaningful work could be done within an allocated time. It also brings quick answer to prayers, prayer of agreement of brethren coming together. Voice of many sounds louder than one and easily heard.
It is difficult for two or more to be overpowered by the external forces, but one can easily surrender for lack of companionship, lack of support, lack of backup. What makes any conflict complex to resolve is the large number of people involved. In such case, the strategy is to reduce the number into one. The world called it, divide and rule strategy. Though what we are saying here is for a right cause of not been discouraged by the external forces from achieving our dream, as we have good number of people around us, giving us good advice, working to support our dreams and aspirations.
He who finds a good help, good alignment, find a good thing and obtain favor from God and men. Good alignment in any relationship is very important to know where one fit in, good to discern the voice of one who leads. Holy Spirit is the Person, it is good for us if we can find Him with His help, He is our helper. He who walk with Holy Spirit is better than him who walk with thousands without Holy Spirit. May the Lord open our eyes and gives us deeper understanding in Jesus name. Amen
