Taking A Step
A step taken in the cause of movement, can lead to forward movement or advancement if taken in a right direction and likewise to backward movement or retrogression if taken in a wrong direction. Staying at a point without divine instruction is dangerous as the nature and environment around experiences dramatic changes for there’s time for everything. A step is an action of doing things that account for advancement or retrogression, so if a man acts on nothing, he remains at the same point, standing in one spot, and for how long with he endure this.
Jesus is worthy to receive all things, power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessings because He took a step in line with the will of the Father and ended Him on the cross. For you to excel and advance in prayer, in the word of God, in serving the Lord, in blessings, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, in knowing the Lord etc, a step is needed to be taken in a rightful direction.
The rightful direction is to move in the direction of Holy Spirit because He knows the deep things of God. As many that are led by the Spirit of God, they’re the children of God, if children of God, they have access to God, the creator of heaven and earth.
A step is taking in obedience to the word of God, doing the word of God, not to be the hearer alone but the doer of the word of God, then he shall prosper in everything he does and have a good success.
The word of God shows us the steps to take and His Spirit gives us direction to follow. Remember that he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continue in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
